Paula and I met in Worcester Massachusetts when I was in my early 20s. Paula had arrived over from Brazil at that time and was rooming with close friend of mine at the time who was also modeling for me. from the beginning it was mainly my friend who strongly suggested I work with Paula. It took some pushing on Paula's end but sure enough our first shoot was born. The shoot took place right smack in Worcester at the apartment they were both living in. Paula had several outfits and one of the last ones she had on I remember at one point she flashed her vagina at me just in between shots. We were young and being cocky felt to be the way for anything at that point in time. 

Our relationship pretty much took off from there and we continued on for a bit but then parted ways for a while. it wasn't until I had relocated to New Bedford Massachusetts where I was working at an abandoned amusement park photographing women that Paula reappeared again. Paula always loved being the center of attention and wanted her photos to be good no matter what. She was very focused on making sure of that. If she did not like the results she made it quite known right there and then. 

    She was hard on herself as well and lived a very interesting path. That is all I can really say there. I wasn't around enough to really pin point much of anything but I do know down the road she gave birth to baby girl making Paula a mother. This ultimately I feel changed her and it was good for her. But Paula still would reach out as much as I would. She wanted good photos and she wanted to look hot and sexy. I felt deep down no matter how many times, there was a part of her that felt I was the one that made her feel completely relaxed to do so. Paula had a killer Brazilian body and knew how to show it.  I had an intent to capture her skin but would compromise to what she loved which was the bikinis and showing off her cheeks and cleavage. Whether it was cupping her breasts or arching her back Paula directed 99% of all the sessions. It wasn't until later on she allowed herself to be topless for a few and by then I could see she enjoyed it on some level. From the photos above I decided to select ones that I felt exhibited her where we succeeded. They show that youthful innocence and high energy of being the center of attention. exhibiting her sexy self and herself in candid moments. In 2021 Paula allowed me to really push her and captured her in a manner that showed a whole new look and feel. It was a moment I had waited a long time to capture. The lighting was set and the poses she delivered in her bra and thong were exact. make up simple and not too loud and her hair smooth straight and not much wave. I even caught her in a candid giggle. Paula worked her body and allowed herself one more final time to be simply herself. I knew then it was our last session. I tried for another but even saying that I knew and felt it was over. For the amount of years we worked together and battled here and there. For the amount of times she critiqued herself too hard on every shoot, Paula did exceptional and is to this day a beautiful woman, mother and every photograph in my eyes... Paula truly felt free around me to express herself and be herself. no judgement no worry, no regret, just being.
