MPVISIONS MODEL SAMANTHA

 Model Samantha

Location New Bedford Massachusetts at the Fairhaven Mills and Circa Vintage Clothing Dept.

Samantha and I worked together for a long time. Sam as she was well known for more than the full name was always ready and on time for any of our shoots. We worked in Danielson Ct., Chelmsford Ma. at my home in the basement and at the college I attended, The Muesum of Fine Arts. Sam was completely amazing to work with and to this day still a dear friend. She was always so calm with herself and she trusted me. In the beginning I would meet up with her pretty quick afterwards to show her the results once I had the prints in hand. Each photograph Sam just flowed beautifully in the atmosphere I chose. Absolutely Elegant, nothing at all explicit to the eye. I was photographing her body as it was. I loved her curves and skin tone in the natural light and her faint freckles on her body. It was my main goal, determination to capture it right. She was very relaxed in her skin and I felt she knew I wouldn't fail her. In the one portrait of her featured in this blog wearing the striped bra and spotted underwear her look expresses such an in depth feeling of awareness and sureness, confident, power and just magic to me. What was even more special was Sam was technically the 1st model to pose nude for me however 2nd model during then after Jeanna. Posing nude then in front of me at that age I must say was truly fucking awesome. I also learned real fast that once the women were unclothed I had a job to do as the Artist I was learning to become. Having Sam there as the first made it relaxed a bit because we knew one another and i didn't push her as it was new for her as well. That part was important. I learned then to never push much and even for me as well. There had to exist a comfort between both parties involved to create together. There was one other young woman just before Sam that also made clear to me during then that if the breasts were revealed to never identify them as tits. Boobs, boobies, breasts were about it and God forbid if anyone called them jugs. I still don't really care for that word.

I will say through the years spent with Sam the work certainly made very solid mark and looking at it today it still feels like I took the photograph hours ago. Sam was truly a privilege to have and her allowing me to photograph her will never be forgotten. She set the bar and from there I then began my portfolio seeking women to collaborate with and build the name MPVISIONS. Thank you Samantha.
