MPVISIONS AT SUNSET WITH WORDS 2016


 Every now and then in between my photography shoots I would see a moment and I would politely excuse myself or say to the model "I have to get this," something along those lines and they would watch sometimes. They also got a moment to see me really shoot for myself and what I see when it is just me out and about alone. Even though I am not alone, they are there, they see that part of me that is all heart. I have to grab it because it is real and it is beautiful. This shot particular is love. I saw them as I was shooting and once they stopped and turned to that sunset and got close I literally got down low where our lights were placed and took this wonderful photograph of two human beings close to one another. the moment was placed right in front of me. Watching the world getting ready for a night sleep. Wherever these two are maybe one day they will come across this from 2016.

Over the years I have circled back and forth and full circle. The achievements with each woman I have had the privilege to collaborate with. In their own skin feeling it all the way through. The trust and belief, simplicity of each body of work. collaborations all over various locations from abandoned to in their own home. Natural light to in photographing them in the studios I have rented and borrowed with permission to now working in my home studio. From erotica to just nude and still. Exhibiting the depths, layers of expressive emotion and character. This Journey is far from over and 25 years in it has only gotten incredibly strong and whole. The relationships built and not forgotten. Honorable and beautiful words will never seem to fill as I at times will just pause for a brief moment before each shot.
