MPVISIONS SHORT FILMS PRESENTS INDIGO 2022


 Has been a bit of a dragging few months since any creative work has been done with film until I was inspired by a music video I saw performed by the New Candys. At first, I was gonna do my version of what the song was meaning throwing out the message. I then decided to go my own route. My wife at my side playing the woman in blue. We shot several scenes after playing the chosen song for the feel of the character she was playing. With overcast gray skies it added to the emotion and so once all the scenes were completed, I put it all together.

Over the years I have circled back and forth and full circle. The achievements with each woman I have had the privilege to collaborate with. In their own skin feeling it all the way through. The trust and belief, simplicity of each body of work. collaborations all over various locations from abandoned to in their own home. Natural light to in photographing them in the studios I have rented and borrowed with permission to now working in my home studio. From erotica to just nude and still. Exhibiting the depths, layers of expressive emotion and character. This Journey is far from over and 25 years in it has only gotten incredibly strong and whole. The relationships built and not forgotten. Honorable and beautiful words will never seem to fill as I at times will just pause for a brief moment before each shot.
